Rod Machado uses it effectively in his Private Pilot book. Humorous
anecdotes that are properly placed and explained help students remember
important issues. It also keeps the reader interested. Rod keeps the
reader's interest because you want to read on to get to the next cartoon or
humerous situation. This is not a standard in aviation texts. Rod's text, I
believe, is unique in this respect.
