Old Dogs

I suppose 23 years puts me in the old dog category. I also have been
involved in the CRM process at Aloha for the last 7 years. The most
gratifying part of all of this is that the really old timers almost all
come around to supporting CRM because they see it as a smarter way of doing
business. For some it was a process that took more than one year or one
CRM class--but they came around. I suspect the most effective part os the
whole thing is having the peer group gradually change in its approach to
doing business. We don't give our folks enough credit for having the
smarts to recognize new techniques that work. The number of people who
refuse to adjust is really a small percentage.
