Right on. Our focus in AFRES is not so much to "talk the talk" but rather to
'"walk the walk". Air Force Reserve crews, many of which have CRM training
from their commercial carrier employers, afford a foundation on which to
build. Military mission do have a bit of a twist for further CRM training.
Overall AFRES has an excellant CRM culture going. It's great to hear the
positive outcome stories as a result of CRM, crew coordination. There are
far more positive stories than bent metal stories.
In my presentations I always stress these positive processes in order not to
create the notion that "lots of human errors are occuring and I can't do
anything about it".
