I agree with Kerry Douglas' opinion. The patch is a prescribed medication
to be used under
proper medical supervision. I do hope that the Germans proceed with
caution. I applaud their
approach, however. At least it shows that people are begining to come
forward with ideas, and
that exercise paves the way to solutions.
In the US, a low dosage nicotine "gum" is available "over the counter".
Perhaps something
similar could be made available in that regard.
