Reid Fairburn.

To advance whatever you are trying to advance, you cannot be taken seriously
with such piffle as "Scarebus". This word expresses great ignorance, and a huge
and simplistic mind set. You have become a victim of simplistic and inaccurate
media judgements, compounded by manufacturer rivalry. Yes, get the facts, but
try NASA/UT/FAA Crew Research first - they've been doing it for years. A
proper analysis of accident and incidents shows an even distribution between
manufacturers. As I fly A320s, A330s, and A340s, after 35 years in the industry,
and over 30 types, I can vouch for the fact that these aircraft are the most
well built and well designed that I have ever flown. In a few years, when the
current 7,000 pilots flying these types will have doubled, the use of such
pathetic expressions as "scarebus" will devalue all else that is said, as it
does for me now.
