Capt. Chris Hadjiantonis,
I am a research assistant at George Mason University and am working
on a FAA grant that is attempting to proceduralize some of the aspects of
CRM with a local carrier. We call this new approach Advanced CRM (ACRM)
and have just created a video to distribute to all our pilots to
demonstrate how these new procedures are to be implemented. I'm not sure
how the carrier or the other members of the grant team may feel about
distributing this video to others but I can check if you or anyone is
interested. Another major aspect of ACRM was to modify and imporve the
tools available to the pilots such as the Flight Standard Manual, the
Quick Reference Handbook, and their Briefing Card. We are also hosting a
workshop on how to improve Crew Assessments and inter-rater reliability
on the 9th and 10th of December.
