I have a paper on decision-making in pilots. It runs through some
theory, then applies it in the case of the pilot who 'presses on' for
too long under lowering cloud. As the material 'sits' within a 15 week
training course, it relies on essential pre-learning. Without dumping
the whole of the Course on you, the critical dependencies (including
some motivation stuff) are in my earlier paper on Situational Awareness
