Hi to Dave and rest of the gang:
My name is Oscar Quintero, from Guatemala. Some of You might remember me
from some of the congress and meetings both in the US as in Europe.
I am a newcomer and it took me a couple of days to up-date with this
rogue thing talking.
I think that most of the "elite units" around the world should have a
high % of rogues. What might happen and that is why it is not noted
clearly all the times and in all of the situations, is that they as an
organized groups, have lesser or greater degrees of roguism.
As allways will be, a great consideration goes to the cultural aspects,
mainly dealing with the national and country ones.
In my personal experience (both, during my time in the Army and Air Force
of my country, I can now recall that "a lot" of roguism goes as an
admired quality or even as a part of a "wish characteristics" among the
personnel. On the other side, the higher the collectivism factor
(Hoffstede)is, higher is the admiration from people, enriching the
characteristics. Cross culture study of the fact is vital.
It is nice being part of a group like this.
We'll keep in touch.
Nice day and my best regards to all.
