Many thanks for an excellent dissertation. It's a mind-opener. There's
a lot in your paper I need to digest, so will take a day or so to
reply (re-construct my defences?).
In the meantime, if anyone is adding to their list of roguish
characteristics, from my observation, these are part of the profile:
-- superhumanly stubborn, especially when resisting new ideas;
-- averse to physical exercise;
-- uncommonly affected by heights (near cliff edges and windows in
tall buildings).
I'm prepared to hazard a guess as to the origins of 1 & 2, but can't
begin to explain 3.
