Thanks for your quick response regarding joint CRM!( and yes,although
KLM has been training CRM to flight crew "forever",we started Joint CRM
as a response to Jar-ops)
What we have developed so far is also a half -day training,not fit into
the general recurrent,but into a two- day training on dealing with
disruptive passengers .This training on disr.pax is for all
crew;leading cabin crew and flight crew have additional Joint CRM.(the
disr. pax "returns"during a role play)During initial cabin crew training
and (joint)recurrents,JCRM is also dealt with, but not
extensively.
The JCRM training consist mainly, besides some theory and case-study, of
practical training(role-play)in a"mock-up" ; a cockpit,cabin,and all
interphone systems etc.We make use of wide screen video's to display
stressful situations;incidents occurring in the cabin,and we use
video-equipment to tape the crew's actions and conversations.We later
evaluate all this with the participants.
We are still in the process of developing all this,at the end of
September we begin "train -the -trainer"programs and trial courses.
