This is Jose Castellanos from Lan Chile. The airplane that crashed
yesterday in Bogota is a B727 from TAME an airline from Ecuador.
TAME is a military own airline (Transportes Aereos Militares del
Ecuador) that operates national and international flights. The captain
of the flight was a Commander from the Ecuatorian Air Force and the
copliot a Mayor. The airplane crashed 3 minutes after take off in El
Dorado Airport in Bogota at 21:47 zulu time in a hill with
telecommunications antenas. In the airplane were 51 passengers and 10
crewmembers. The airplane was operating with a cide sharing with Air
france.
