I would also like to obtain more information on the <<few tales or two
about
aggressive interaction between the two positions when the realtionship
was
more than a crew. The aggressive actions were not nice and caused some
degree of airplane loss of control due to violence>> that Reid
Fairburn spoke about in his letter.
I feel that our operation in the cockpit is great - we are so "tuned" to
each other that many cues and actions do not have to be verbalised to
any great extent, and decision-making is much simplified as there are
few of the barriers present that hinder effective communication
(power-gradient etc.).
All we really asked was that the company conduct a number of "check"
flights with a Training or Check airman to evaluate the operation. We
would have been happy to step down if ant deficiencies were apparent.
