Electronic checklists for abnormal and emergency procedures work well on
the FKR100/70, BUT I do show the folks a false engine failure warning in
the simulator, just to remind them that the system is not infallible. So
far I have only seen three glide approaches from pilots not cross checking
the primary engine instruments before the shutting down the remaining
"good" engine.
I find the status page useful as an aide memoire when going into a busy TMA
with a couple of snags which say may remind you of no reverse or no autoland.
We use the cardboard checklist for normal operations.
