Work Group A

Objective - Develop a list of the core expectations with an airline or other operator should place on the performance of its flight crews with respect to managing situation awareness management.

A definition of situation awareness management - The perception of elements in the environment. The comprehension of their meaning. Their projection into the near future.

Recognize that each crew member already has the talent/ability for situation awareness management through demonstration of professional expertise.
